Outside her work as instructional designer, Jenny Johnson, Ed.D. serves as an expert witness on school quality, school choice, “best interest of the child” factors as it relates to educational opportunities, compliance with ADA regulation, 504s/IEPs, special needs, and school quality.

She provides consultation to domestic relations attorneys involving schools and educational decision-making. She has been qualified as an expert witness in Colorado and has produced reports in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, Colorado, Florida and Connecticut.

About Jenny

Jenny Johnson, Ed.D. is a veteran educator and licensed school principal with over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She specializes in expert witness testimony related to school quality, school choice, special education, and instructional systems. She also produces school analysis and comparison reports for domestic relations cases where schools are in dispute between caregivers.

Jenny earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Professional Learning from the University of Colorado Denver, where her research focused on measuring rural school quality and alternative accountability models. She also has a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor’s from The University of Michigan.
