About Jenny

I am an educator, school leader, and lifelong advocate for children and families. For more than fifteen years, I have served students across Colorado as a teacher, instructional coach, dean, assistant principal, and district leader, always guided by a simple belief: every child deserves to be known, challenged, supported, and inspired.

My career has allowed me to impact education from multiple perspectives. I began as a classroom teacher and later served as a Dean of Instruction, Coordinator of Student Achievement, and Assistant Principal, leading efforts to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes. Throughout these roles, I have coached educators, facilitated professional learning, and partnered with school communities to build strong systems that support both academic excellence and student well-being. One of my proudest accomplishments was helping West Early College achieve the highest academic growth ranking in Denver Public Schools through collaborative instructional leadership and a relentless focus on student success.

Beyond K-12 leadership, I am passionate about developing the next generation of educators. As Affiliate Faculty and a Field Coach for Colorado Christian University, I mentored aspiring teachers entering the profession, with a particular focus on multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and inclusive instructional practices. I have also partnered with the Colorado Department of Education to design professional learning and training modules that help educators better serve diverse learners across our state.

My leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that education is about seeing every child and valuing who they are. Academic achievement matters, but so do relationships, belonging, character, and social-emotional growth. The most successful schools are those that cultivate all aspects of a child's development while maintaining high expectations and meaningful support.

Above all, I am a proud mom of three amazing children. Being a parent has strengthened my commitment to educational excellence and deepened my understanding of the trust families place in schools every day. Whether I am supporting students, coaching teachers, or partnering with families, I approach my work with empathy, integrity, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child.
